To make your own pom pom maker, you will need:

  • Cardboard
  • Circular template (e.g. a lid, etc.)
  • Pen
  • A pair of scissors

How to Make Pom Poms Using Yarn

Step 1

Use a round item to trace two circles onto the cardboard. Lids are great for this. Make sure the circles have the same diameter as the diameter you want for your pom-poms.

Using a smaller round object, draw a second circle inside the two circles.
